Power of Attorney
A Lasting Power of Attorney is a legal document that enables you to appoint one or more person(s) to manage your financial affairs and property, healthcare and welfare matters either now or in the future.There are two types of Lasting Power of Attorney. It is possible to make one type or both if you wish.
A Property & Affairs Lasting Power of Attorney allows your Attorney to manage such things as paying bills, managing bank accounts or selling your house.
A Personal Welfare Lasting Power of Attorney allows your attorney to make decisions on your behalf on things including consenting to medical treatment and deciding where you live.
